Celebration of Christmas. . .

Oh, my goodness!

The journey of life's happenings On Crooked Creek
has been a whirlwind of activity since our return
from our Annual Trout Fishing Trip this Autumn.

Truly, I had planned to bring you several posts this Christmas,
but will settle for sharing some snippets
of our Celebration of Christmas On Crooked Creek, instead.

I chose red & white stripe table runner, ribbon and place mats
combined with some hues of blues for our Christmas color palette.

Last year,
I finally made the 'dive' and purchased a skinny
flocked Christmas Tree for On Crooked Creek's upper living level.

I still find that it is quite a challenge for me to style.
For our Celebration of Christmas On Crooked Creek,
I chose blue, red and white with touches of silver for my color palette.

This color palette continues into On Crooked Creek's Dining Room.

In keeping with a more simplistic style,
I tucked in a few vintage red figurines, plates and vintage ornaments
within my vintage swirl white ironstone collection in the built~in cabinet.

I set up a snacking spot for"Mr. Ed" and I to enjoy
an afternoon snack and a cup of tea.

Our favorite spot within On Crooked Creek's Galley Style Kitchen
is definitely our make shift coffee bar (aka tray)!

One of the design features I enjoy On Crooked Creek
is the styling of my light fixtures and Dining Room Chandelier.

While up high on the ladder,
I also choose to adorn my chicken wire cabinet doors above our electric range.

During our Annual Trout Fishing Trip,
I always enjoy one day of shopping in Ozark, Missouri.

This year,
I had the opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping.
I fell head over heels in love with this adorable elf!

Isn't he just the cutest thing e v e r?

Elfie takes 'the Elf~on~the~Shelf' to a whole other meaning
as he watches over the activities in On Crooked Creek's
Galley Style Kitchen and Dining Room!

Our Celebration of Christmas Tablescape
is in keeping with a more simplistic style, as well.

In my wall pockets and on the garage door,
I kept the color palette and styling theme consistent throughout
our upper level living areas On Crooked Creek for our Christmas Celebration.

I hope that you are enjoying time with family and friends
during this Celebration of Christmas, as will "Mr. Ed" and I.

One last snippet of our Celebration of Christmas On Crooked Creek.

Gifted to me by my Director many years ago,
as I had worked through the evening
preparing personal gifts for each of my students.

Until next time. . .

Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years!

Very pretty Pat! Looks like you slowed down and enjoyed decorating this year. We did too. Merry Christmas.
