Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro Collection. . .

Springtime is the "perfect" time
to bring out the green hues in On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room.

So~o~o. . .
today, with Spring like temperatures,
I'm showcasing my Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro Collection.

Although, my collection of Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro is still quite small,
I was fortunate to find several new pieces this Winter at our local Antique Mall.

I'll begin with the additions,
then we'll gaze our eyes upon my entire collection.

I found two Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro pitchers at 20% off!

A petite cabbage leaf pitcher
shown with my cabbage bowls of the same pattern and hue. . .

and a Grapevine Leaf pattern regular sized water pitcher
that blends harmoniously with my ever growing Collection.

Next,
I found three cups and saucers in a new to me Geranium Pattern.

While this pattern doesn't match any of the others I have collected,
I do like how it complements my Grapevine Leaf Pattern.

Now,
you can see how all the pieces
of my collected Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro blend together
within my built~in china cabinet in On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room.

The first pieces of my Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro Collection,
brown rimmed cabbage dessert/ salad plates, stretch the length of the top shelf.

The one matching dinner plate, placed in front,
accompanied by my vintage green rimmed juice glasses.

I couldn't resist these adorable moss bunnies
at our local Antique Mall and Flea Market.
I embellished each with a sage green French Silk Ribbon
and a single faux buttery yellow blossom.

I would l o v e to find more of this Grapevine Leaf dessert / salad plate.

For now,
I've mixed my single plate with the new Geranium cups and saucers.

Another single,
is my cabbage leaf dessert / salad plate seen here with my cabbage leaf bowls.

The bottom shelf ,
also features single pieces to my Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro Collection.

All three of these Grapevine Leaf pieces have matching motif.
A pitcher, a dessert / salad plate and a serving platter.

These unique leaf rimmed petite plates are also, Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro.

However, I 'm not familiar with their pattern name or other available pieces.

At that amazing 20% off  Winter $ale,
I also, purchased two more
of the brown rimmed Cabbage Leaf dessert / salad plates.

Enjoy gazing your eyes upon the pieces of my Majolica Bordallo Pinheiro Collection displayed just in time for St. Patrick's Day!

A "perfect time' for featuring my Majolica Bordallo Pinherio Collection
and for welcoming the arrival of Spring!

Until next time. . .

Hi Pat! Oh, what a beautiful collection you have. I have a few of the pieces of this lovely green! I love how you have your cabinet set up. Nothing like spring green. Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)

it is a beautiful collection...don't have any myself. That's OK since i don't need anymore dishes...so i'll just admire yours.

Pat, you have a nice BP collection. I really like the pitchers. The little green bunny fits right in with the dishes.
Have a great week...it sure is starting out nice on this side of the prairie!

What a beautiful collection you have gathered! The variety is wonderful. I do love the brown edges on some and the matte looking grapevine salad plate. Gorgeous! March is absolutely the best time to bring these beautiful pieces to the forefront. So beautiful displayed together!

Perfect display especially for this week but I like green any time. You have a lovely collection that just fits in the cabinet so nicely. And you so sweetly adorned your little moss bunny! Sounds like your visits to the antique shops are paying off. Enjoy the nice weather.

Swooning over here, I am, Pat! I could fall hard for that collection - it's beautiful, and so perfect for any spring occasion. I love your mixed collection of pieces. The cabbage bowls, platter and the brown rimmed cabbage plates are my favorites. My love for brown transferware would draw me to those rimmed plates. Looks gorgeous in your cabinet, styled beautifully. I know that takes time - getting it all just right to your eye for balance & show. Happy Spring, indeed!

Oh, Pat!!!! What a gorgeous collection of BP!! I am in love with these dishes after seeing so many on this crawl tonight, but yours are amazing. The brown edged ones are amazing and a geranium pattern would be perfect for me. I must start looking for some now. Thanks for the tour of your collection! Linda

Love your BP collection. I also love to collect BP. I've seen the leaf pattern but don't have a single leaf piece. I do keep my eye open for the blue but don't see it very often. Take care.

What a stunning collection of BP. You and Marigene seem to have the most. I have cabbage dishes, but they aren't BP. They are perfect for so many occasions! Thanks so much for taking part in the Blog Crawl. I came out of moth balls to do it, always so much fun!
