I retreat to Studio One and entertain myself with creative design thoughts.
Using a host of my favorite things,
I recently created a space for brewing a cup 'o tea
whilst I create new designs for our Bit's 'n Pieces booth.
Newly acquired silver tea spoons
rest within a crystal repurposed votive container.
A hand painted petite porcelain dish is the perfect size to hold tea bags.
My Sunbeam Tea Pot for brewing the "perfect" cup 'o tea!
I placed these items atop our repurposed vintage Sewing Machine Cabinet.
A damask patterned protective vinyl covering
received a 'custom fit' from "Mr. Ed".
A vintage picture frame repurposed as a chalkboard
awaits a purposeful or sentimental saying.
The base of my vintage Sewing Machine Cabinet is painted using Sherwin~Williams Agreeable Gray satin paint.
The French Provincial hardware was painted With Sherwin~Williams
Paperwhite and accented with White Hyacinth, also in satin finish.

Accenting the beautiful wood in this cabinet, "Mr. Ed" stained the top
using several coats of Dark Walnut Min Wax.

It is my wish that you, too,
will experience the serene and tranquil inspirations
that only the hue of gray can bring into your life.

the little cabinet looks so inviting. the SW gray looks calm and your makeover was indeed a success. Still loving those fish plates in your last post too.
What a perfect spot! I can't resist beautiful little silver teaspoons. And that painted bird plate is the loveliest thing! You're all set! So many things going on in May. And the weather is so crazy. But aren't we glad it's spring!? Happy Mother's Day my friend!
