I've been fortunate to have a few days
where I could shut the furnace thermostat off
and open the Bedroom and Living Room windows!
Ah~h~h. . .a breath of Spring!
So~o~o. . .
I swept the front porch,
cleaned the front door glass,
and hung this new Spring Wreath!
Ah~h~h. . . a breath of Spring!
On Crooked Creek, I designed this years Spring Wreath
by adding embellishments to a simple Hobby Lobby Wreath.
To the simple green eucalyptus wreath with white hydrangea,
I added soft buttery yellow tulips,
some purple lavender sprigs and some red~violet ranunculus.
Then, I finished it off with a yellow and white checked bow.
The morning sun warms my face
while the dewy grass washes my feet.
I am renewed,
and for the first time in a long time,
I breathe fresh air deep into my body
and my noisy being quiets.
Suddenly, my ears awaken
and I hear your clear voice.
Love overwhelms me
and the trees and rocks
and mountains celebrate.
Touch me dear Lord,
give me peace beyond understanding,
joy unspeakable and unwaving faith for the journey.

Your wreath turned out beautifully, Pat!!! I love it and also your door is gorgeous!!!
The wreath is like a breath of spring air with those soft colors. Hoping we'll have some spring weather too.
Beautiful wreath...I haven't been able to open doors or windows...still a little too cool here. We always have wind so it has to be really warm to want to open up my house....Have a beautiful Sunday...
