you'll find that changing out the built~in china cabinet in the Dining Room
is one of my favorite things to do.
From Season~to~Season,
Holiday~to~Holiday, I absolutely love styling this cabinet!
This Autumn,
I've styled On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room built~in cabinet
in subdued hues of creamy ivory, white and a touch of taupe and rustic bronze.
My subdued hue design began
with featuring this Autumn serving platter from last year's purchase.
I was thrilled to purchase this matching bowl with acorn spoon
just a few weeks ago! Both are from Hallmark.
Directly above,
I placed creamy ivory excelsior atop one of the ivory and taupe pedestals
purchased at The Cottage Market during a recent Road Trip with "Mr. Ed"
and placed a crackle finish miniature pumpkin from T J Maxx.
My vintage creamy ivory serving bowls, in varying sizes,
complement the subdued hues throughout the cabinet.
An Avon tea pot, lidded creamer and sugar bowl
in an all white pear motif sits on the top shelf.
Notice the Traditional, but subdued hues
in the pepper berry garland and faux silk leaf garland?
I adore the textured pattern on the glass pumpkin!
The vintage ironstone saucers were a perfect fit on my vintage silver toast stand.
I'm always on the hunt for my favorite
vintage Homer Laughlin ironstone in this amazing subtle pattern.
Recently,
I added the smaller creamer purchased at The Vintage Rhinestone.
So~o~o. . .I'll be hunting for its matching lidded sugar bowl.
As you can clearly see,
I tucked those miniature pumpkins atop the cupcake pedestals
on every shelf of the cabinet for a cohesive look.
In subdued hues

Such a lovely built in china cabinet dear friend.
I am envious of your two pretty pumpkins I'm spotting on your lovely Fall vignette.
Have a wonderful week ahead.

It looks lovely Pat, your white ware is gorgeous, and stunning displayed all together!

I love that china cabinet! And I like the changes you made.
I can relate to the fun in decorating our china hutches. Your white dishes are so pretty and don't think I've ever seen individual cupcake stands...I also love Homer Laughlin and have several pieces found thrifting. I so wish you lived close because I'd love to go to lunch. Thanks for your comforting words on our remodel.
I think we all love changing out our hutches...yours looks so pretty.

I love the subdued tones of your decor and the textures. Lovely post.
Love the subtle hues, with the touches of rust and bronze. Looks great!
You are so ambitious to change out your china cabinet, Pat. It really looks great. The acorn serving pieces are perfect for fall. Love that little spoon.
Have a wonderful week...it's so nice that the weather is finally cooling off enough that windows and doors can once again be opened!
Your dishes are so pretty, Pat! Your lovely cabinet is the perfect spot for some sweet Fall lovelies!

It's very beautiful Pat! Love the serene feel for fall. I love styling my similar cupboard as well. This fall mine features my wheat dishes with a touch of aqua. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Pat, I love following your changes on the prairie. Your fall creams are so nice. Now that I have my sideboard in the dining room, I look forward to doing seasonal changes too, using various collected pieces. You inspire each time you make these changes, I hope you know that, my friend. Happy Fall.
