Dangling Snowflakes. . .

I  l o v e watching Snowflakes!

As they twirl and flurry past my patio doors,
it's as if I 'm watching a composer lead an orchestra
in one of the finest arrangements known to Mother Nature.

Since Snow has been amiss On Crooked Creektt,
I hung snowflakes from my Dining Room chandelier.

I've left the pine needle and eucalyptus garland
atop the Dining Room chandelier and added some silver ivy leaves
to enhance our dining experience during the Winter season.

I adore the dramatic effect the RAZ Import snowflakes
bring to On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room.

So much so,
that I hung them on the Dining Room hutch, as well!

Here,
I chose the miniature silver snowflakes
to hang near the vintage gold glass icicle ornaments.

Carrying on the theme of the Winter Season,
I chose an evergreen tree with a miniature rusty star
to adorn my heirloom Silver Tea Service.

My wishful message simply stated on the petite silver tray chalkboard,
"Let It Snow!"
combined with a whimsical snowman
and a petite silver Tea Set complete the Winter Season buffet vignette.

At our annual Church Winterfest (bazaar),
I made my very first e v e r bid on this adorable felted Snowman
in a diamond cut parfait glass.

This was the last of "Mr. Ed" and my three year commitment
to co~chair the  Silent Auction for our Church Winterfest (bazaar).

And. . .it was omy birthday!!!

How could I resist???

Vintage Odds and Ends by Kim Carr

My dear friend, Kim Carr of Vintage Odds and Ends,
has the most amazing booth locally.

Kim set~up some of her "creations" at our Church Winterfest (bazaar).

This petite Silver Tea Set arrangement, made by Kim,
stole my heart and won a place of honor in On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room.

My vintage styled verdigris wall pockets received
an acrylic snowflake, some silver ivy and some white beads
tucked within the faux cedar boughs
to compliment the other dangling snowflakes.

I'd always heard it told,
"It's n o t nice to fool Mother Nature"!

I'm trying to abide my time,
with faux dangling snowflakes and snowmen
while Mother Nature decides to arrive On Crooked Creektt!

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

I should do this too and decorate Winter inside my house with snow flakes.
I love your gorgeous hutch and the top is awesome, as all your décor is. Very inspiring for me sweet friend, as you know I miss Winter as you know it in the USA.
Enjoy your weekend.

What great little additions to your home for winter, Pat. A happy (belated?) birthday wish to you, my friend. May you have a year of making new, fond memories, while enjoying reminiscing of old! Your little snowman auction win is adorable.

Everything looks really pretty....since you are wanting real snow, I hope you get some soon. We, on the other hand, have had more snow than we want..the moisture will help us get thru spring and dust storms, tho.
hugs to you

We haven't had much snow either but its bitter cold, 6 degrees! My car wouldn't start this morning so we jumped started it. Love the snowflakes all over and have a few myself. Stay warm!

Don't let my spring fever fool you, my home is filled with snowflakes! :) I too have them dangling from the chandy and also from a garland in the entry. It's snowing right now and I must admit it's magical. I just should never have visited that greenhouse. lol! Love all of your pretties! The snowman in the cup and the gorgeous arrangement in the silver set. Your friends booth is fabulous! Warm winter wishes and so glad you will be sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann

I just love snowflakes to decorate with and have them hanging in all my windows on one side of the house. I just love how you used them. The snowman is adorable! We keep waiting for the "snowstorm" to hit us in the Northeast but we are just getting frigid temperatures.

Happy belated Birthday, Pat! Yes, indeed you should treat yourself on your birthday. I hope your pretty touches of winter in your home bring you a much desired snow. We don't usually have snow but the past few years we have and it's always a treat and a curse down here!

Pat this is all so cute. Since I have so much winter out my window I never think of paying tribute to it by decorating like this. That snowman you bid on is adorable and so is the cute silver set. I'll gladly send you a truck load of snow to spread around your yard!

Very pretty! I just wanted to let you know that we are getting a doozy of a snow storm this Saturday and the first thing that I thought of was how much you would love it!
I'll post pictures as the day progresses!

Good Afternoon Pat, Firstly let me send you belated birthday greetings... and what a wonderful gift to yourself, the little snowman is adorable.
There is that space between Christmas and Spring when we, here in England, tend not to decorate.... but I love your beautiful snowflakes and your winter decorations. You have me thinking that maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and add some extra sparkles to my rooms. The snow has fallen here in the North of England, but I feel some little snowflakes inside my home would look lovely.
Best Wishes to you.

Hi Pat! Oh, everything is so pretty! I love all of your little snowflakes and hope you get some real snow. Do you think you will? With this big snow storm heading our way, we're not going to get any of it! Mr. Precious is so disappointed! ;) Thank you for your prayers for my little Carter. I appreciate you more than you know.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Such lovely winter vignettes! Love the dangling snowflakes. We had the real thing here in NE GA! It's melting pretty good today, but the temps will be low tonight and refreeze the thawed areas. Thanks, as always, for your visit!
