On Crooked Creektt's lawn and gardens are brown and dying.
However,
this Summer we have had strategically timed "rain showers"
and everything is still lush and g r e e n!
So~o~o. . .
while "Mr. Ed" mowed our lawn early this morning,
I set a Timeless Classic black, white and yellow tablescape
to aid in Savoring Summer.
Oh, yes!!!
Like many of you in The Land of Blog,
I've been resourcing inspiring Autumnal decor,
but I'm not quite ready to take the "plunge" into Autumnal hues.
Last week,
after "Mr. Ed" repainted my workstation in Studio One,
I put together this floral arrangement for my creative space.

As I edited my seasonal decor storage bins,
I simply put "like" florals together in individual bundles
and tied them together with cotton string.
Then,
I pushed the bundles down into this lattice embossed planter
containing decorative stones to hold the florals in place.
I adore the way all the florals harmoniously blend together
to make a soft buttery yellow centerpiece.

Using my soft buttery yellow Ralph Lauren damask tablecloth as a backdrop,
I then added my favorite black and white quilted round toile place mats.
I chose all my Timeless Classic dining pieces
for a cohesive appeal and ease of clean~up.
Everyday white porcelain dinnerware, Oneida stainless flatware
and clear bubble glass stemware are all dishwasher safe.
Resting inside the wrought iron rustic dragonfly napkin rings
are natural hued linen cloth napkins to continue the Timeless Classic design.
One of the benefits of using all~white dinnerware
is being able to blend my Timeless Classic dinnerware with my vintage
Snowhite Regency Made In England Johnson Brothers Ironstone.
By placing two sets of creamer and lidded sugar bowl
on either side of the floral centerpiece,
I was able to fill what would have otherwise been a void in the design.
On Crooked Creektt, cloudy and overcast skies are giving way
to promise of continued "rain showers" again throughout this week.
I was fortunate to catch a few photos of On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room
with full sunlight steaming through the patio doors.
At the present time, I may be "flirting" with the idea of Autumnal decor.

I am totally holding off on the Autumn colors as well. Fall is short and Winter is looong and dreary here so I have no desire to rush into it. I am a summer girl at heart and will cling to it as long as I can :)

Such a charming table arrangement. I love the yellow and white and green. Makes me think of spring which i am sure I will be doing all throughout the winter ahead.
