Entertaining Christmas . . .

Christmas On Crooked Creektt
is celebrated throughout our 1970's Ranch Style Home!

The upper level Living Room
is where "Mr. Ed" and I spend our evenings
relaxing in front of the Entertainment Center.

Our Entertainment Center was purchased with a duo purpose .

"Mr. Ed's" television viewing. . .

and my fulfillment of listening to classical music.

The size of this Entertainment Center fills the space quite nicely.

This September (here),
I began the designing of our Entertainment Center
with the hosting of Christmas On Crooked Creektt in mind.

I kept a Traditional style for Christmas On Crooked Creektt,
by simply removing Autumnal accessories
and adding Seasonal greenery and ornaments.

The same simplistic style continues throughout.

Instead of lush garlands,
this years choice is simplistic sprigs and burlap ribbon
combined with red and gold glitter ornaments.

Consistant decor atop the Entertainment Center
are the oil lamps combined with the six pane window.
All are heirlooms from "Mr. Ed's" Family Farm.

I placed "Mr. Ed's" N O E L blocks
with some burlap ribbon and vintage bisque hued ornaments
to disguise the h u g e stereo speakers.

I neatly tucked in a few miniature Christmas trees
and some silver birds.

Vintage white ironstone pottery vases
adorned by sprigs of similar boughs and ornaments
keep a consistent theme throughout the Entertainment Center.

Treasured French busts,
gifted by "Mr. Ed" on our first anniversary,
fill the open shelving .

One of my former students,
now serving in the United States Marines,
a continual reminder to me of the importance of my freedom
to celebrate Christmas On Crooked Creektt in joy, hope, love, and peace.

Symmetrical styling, pleasing to eye,
continues with holly and ivy sprigs and glittering ornaments
to the opposite side of the Entertainment Center.

Christmas On Crooked Creekttfilled with the ease of entertaining.

By styling my Entertainment Center with a switch of Seasons in mind,
I can now focus on the Reason for the Season.

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for Metamorphosis Monday!

And. . .

And. . .

Hi Pat I love the decor in your entertainment center. The trees in the white vases is a stellar touch to the other beautiful decor you used. fondly ~lynne~

Perfectly done! What's especially nice are the memories and special meanings the decorative pieces have for you.
