Grey Dey Thursdey. . .Vol. VII

Question:
When is a drawer  n o t  a drawer?

Answer:
When the drawer becomes repurposed as a shelf!

Repurposed from the 'built on sight' Master Bedroom bathroom cabinet
is this dark walnut drawer now turned into a shelf.

To frame and disguise the drawer,
"Mr. Ed" added mitered trim to all four sides.

Then,
he added a paneled back and a divider shelf.

Next,
I painted the trim in the two tones of Studio One's color palette.

After wiping off the paint while still wet,
the grain of the wood trim was accented with dark walnut stain.

One of my favorite areas for displaying those petite accessories
that would otherwise be lost within a vignette.

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

Grey Dey Thursdey!

It is my wish that you, too,
will experience the serene and tranquil inspirations
that only the hue of gray can bring into your life.
