Grey Dey Thursdey. . .Vol. VI

Every once in a while,
I indulge my hopeless romantic side.

Candlelight,
                        classical piano music,
                                                                   a cup 'o tea
                                                                                       all on a Grey Trayscape

Studio One is the affectionate title
given to my creative space in the lower level On Crooked Creektt.

Here,
I work nearly as many hours as I did before retirement.

Therefore,
it is important that I pamper myself.

While researching the next seasons decor for our home
or gifting design for our Bit's 'n Pieces booth,
I often stop midday for a cup 'o tea.

A hand crocheted two~tone doily atop
                                           a monogram linen tea towel
sets the backdrop for this Grey Trayscape.

The romantic elements within the Grey Trayscape include
tea pot for one,
      a petite silver three~arm candelabra,
                   delicate hand embroidered cocktail napkins
and a stack of vintage Gold Crown China
topped with an heirloom hand painted tea cup.

A perfect blend of accessories
                               for indulging one's inner creativity
in celebration of a life being lived to its fulfilment.

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

 Michelle @ Petite Michelle for

Grey Dey Thursdey!

It is my wish that you, too,
will experience the serene and tranquil inspirations
that only the hue of gray can bring into your life.

I always like seeing that Gold Crown China --it looks good with gray. Gray is a peaceful color and have you ever noticed how comfortable you feel when you wear gray? I'm glad that you spoil yourself a bit as you work away in your studio.
