2013 Projects On Parade. . .

Strike up the band for 2013 Projects On Parade!

Studio One ~
my creative space is the Grand Marshall of this festive event!
While it didn't receive a total make~over,
it did receive a "fresh" new color palette and a lightening of the space.

This subtle, soothing color palette
allows for tranquil ambiance
while creating and designing in Studio One.

Top reviews came from the vignettes within this creative space!

Eliminating the clutter and reorganizing supplies
allows for a serene atmosphere throughout the space.

"Mr. Ed" is quite The Handyman On Crooked Creektt!
What once was a cabinet drawer, is now a shelf.

Many of my followers have wondered what is it that I do in Studio One.
Formerly, Studio One was my home based
Handmade Cards with a Vintage Flair business.

Now that I'm fully retired, Studio One has numerous functions.

While working with paper is still my favorite medium of choice. . .

retirement has allowed me the freedom to expand my mediums.

Still creating and designing with a Vintage Flair,
I recently broadened my materials to buttons and fabric.

Using Vintage Buttons from my collection,
#58 buttons were used to make this basket POSH Pillow!

Another creative project underway in 2013
was the preparation of giving a presentation
to my JOY circle on Herbs~Edible Plants.

I painted, added coffee filter ruffles
and ribbons tied in bows as creative decorative touches
to peat pots to use in my presention.

Other peat pots were decorated for a Ladies Luncheon.

With the help of  'My Faithful Assistant', "Mr. Ed",
#30 bird's nest were made for my friends daughters Wedding Reception.

The most frequent use of Studio One,
other than storage, is for my own personal creations.

During Christmas 2013,
I disassembled a grapevine wreath I'd had for years,
and re~purposed it for our front porch On Crooked Creektt.

On Crooked Creektt will be continuing 2013 Projects On Parade
throughout the month of January 2014!

It is my hope that you will join me
as I highlight a few more of the major projects from 2013.

You're possibly pondering, "Are there projects in the planning for 2014?"
My reply would be, "You can count on that. . .and the list is growing!"

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

And. . .

And. . .

inspiration abounds with all of these hostesses

You keep busy there don't you? I know a quiet tidy place would do much for creativity and I like your space. Great repurposing of the drawer to shelf! Have a good weekend!

Hello Pat...just relaxing and catching up with you on this last Sunday of 2013! Loved remembering with you all that you accomplished. I'm preparing a similar post of my favorite whites from the year. As for projects for 2014...I wonder whose list is longer, yours or mine!

looking at your list of accomplishments made me realize what a slacker I was in 2013. I think I'll do better this year. thanks for the inspiration.
