Hurrying And Scurrying. . .

On Crooked Creektt,
I'm loving these 'crisp' mornings, warm afternoons and chilly evenings!

One of the things "Mr. Ed" enjoys about Autumn
is the hurrying and scurrying of the squirrels that frequent our feeders!

This squirrel figurine
is one of many in our 'collection' of "Mr. Ed's" furry~tailed curiosities.

It almost appears that the squirrel has proclaimed to all of creation,
"This one's (acorn) mine!"

All the while,
there's a creamy ivory maple leaf platter
filled to the brim with 'uniquely' made acorns at the ready for him.

On Crooked Creektt
our 'resident' squirrel and this one could honestly be twins.

Reminding both "Mr. Ed" and I of the antics of our 'resident' squirrel,
this vignette sits atop the vintage sewing machine cabinet
in On Crooked Creektt's upper level Living Room.

Hurrying and scurrying
seems to be the order of the day On Crooked Creektt
while both "Mr. Ed" and I are trying to 'catch~up' after returning home
from our Annual Trout Fishing Trip to Bennett Spring State Park.

Until next time. . .

At our house it is the chipmunks who seem to have become much more active as the cooler weather approaches. They are adorable as is your little squirrel and the fun acorns he protects. It is a wonderful time of the year!
Blessings to you my friend,
Patti

Very pretty Pat! The runner looks very stylish and I love the white leaf tray. Those acorns a big mouthful for the squirrels! Yes this time of the year those squirrels and chipmunks are very busy! We have a lot of acorns from a big oak tree in the yard- plenty to fill their nests!

So cute Pat. I love the hurrying and scurrying! Your squirrel is so cute and your little garden friend sounds delightful. No squirrels here, although my neighbor has one that often runs along the edge of their fence. Love your unique acorns as well! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
