Entertaining Thoughts of Spring!

Although I know Winter isn't over,
On Crooked Creektt, I'm having entertaining thoughts of Spring!

Once the Snowmen were all packed away,
the Entertainment Center On Crooked Creektt remained barren for weeks.

With temperatures near Winter weather breaking highs,
I gave up on the idea of Snow and began adding touches
of Spring to On Crooked Creekktt's  Entertainment Center.

Nothing says Spring to me more than the addition of bird's nest!

I adore the small nest featuring two small eggs within.

This garland, composed from a faux branch and leaves
with a small bird's nest tucked inside, is a long time favorite of mine.

I've placed the garland at the base of two topiaries clad in terra cotta pots.

On Crooked Creektt,
I'm entertaining thoughts of Spring!

Until next time. . .

That's so sweet, Pat. Today I spent so.much.time messing around with vignettes, only to end up a little frustrated in how little I accomplished. The more stuff I have, the harder it seems to find the right mix. I dismantled pretty much the last of my winter vignettes, and found comfort in returning to a couple old favorites, just like you did with yours. Tried and true wins. Have a great weekend.

Love the window with the greens and browns, which reminds me of budding spring. I'm already missing Winter, we had so little of it.

How sweet. I need to find my bird's nest. You have arranged a lovely vignette to herald the coming of spring. Hope all is well on Crooked Creek.

Very pretty Pat! I am on the hunt looking for more nests, in my woman cave but I may have to try and get outside and find the twigs to make some.

Have a great week dear Lady!

Two of my favorite things - or make that three - topiary, birds nests, and old windows.

Hi Pat, Love your sweet vignette. With our warmer temperatures it's sure giving me the fever. The shop is full to overflowing with Spring and looks happy. How's that porch coming along? The last couple of days I've been out dealing with the shop sign, finally got the new sign up and the posts painted. It looks fantastic!!! Enjoy today old man winter is going to say hello again tomorrow. fondly ~ Lynne ~

Springtime seems to bring happiness and renewal. I get so lazy and draggy in the winter, it is a shame what I do not get done. Can't wait, by daffodils are getting buds on them!

Just today I was at Pottery Barn looking at a pack of bird's nests and put them back because they were a tad pricey. I love all of the elements you've added to your entertainment center. We would love for you to share this at Celebrate Your Story link party. Here is the link:

Your vignettes are lovely.

You make me want to go out and buy a bird's nest to add to a vignette.

Thanks for sharing at SYC.

Hi Pat. I love that branch at the base of the topiaries. I have a branch very similar with green apples with the nest. So pretty and really is a reminder of spring. Thank you so much for your kind words to me and hope you have a very wonderful weekend..Judy
