Christmas Open House. . .

I'm thrilled to be taking  part in a Tidings Holiday Housewalk!

A Holiday 'thank you' to our hostess
and co~hostess

Welcome to Christmas On Crooked Creektt!

Christmas is my  f a v o r i t e holiday of the year!

I've decked out our Entry Hall in a festive monochromatic color scheme
highlighting greens with creamy ivory and silver.

My Santos  Angel has resided in the same place since her arrival
On Crooked Creektt and keeps watch over our going out and coming in.

As we enter into our upper level Living Room On Crooked Creektt,
You'll see "The Resident Decorator's" touch of Christmas decorating.

I'm quite pleased with "Mr. Ed's" attempt at his first cloche design!

Directly behind "Mr. Ed's" chair sits the vintage four drawer dresser
gifted to me by our son many Mother's Days ago.

To the other side of our couch sits my end table with my Italian alabaster bust.

In our trilogy of windows,
I've hung a faux evergreen wreath
with a single mercury silver diamond cut ornament.

These wreaths set the backdrop for On Crooked Creektt's Christmas Tree
decked out in champagne, gold and silver.

As we continue our journey through On Crooked Creektt's Living Room,
you will catch a glimpse of our sweet family placed alongside our Goebel Nativity.

Next,
On Crooked Creektt's Entertainment Center that has been decorated
to resemble the "Christmas Window Displays" of my childhood.

One final accent table fitted with Christmas finery
in On Crooked Creektt's Living Room.

Our Christmas word of choice ~ NOEL.

Noel is a French word originating from Latin meaning "birthday".

Thank you for joining "Mr. Ed" and I,  On Crooked Creektt,
as we celebrate the Birth of Christ at Christmas.

Until next time. . .

Your home is very elegant and what lovely Christmas vignettes you have created! I am very impressed with Mr Ed's attempt at cloche design. I sincerely doubt that my hubby would ever attempt one ;-) I so enjoyed visiting your lovely home. Merry Christmas to you!!

Your home is beautiful! I love the simplicity of the little undecorated trees but the big tree is gorgeous with its glittering ornaments and lights. A beautiful, welcoming place! Merry Christmas!
