A Marshmallow World. . .

Although our winter weather won't cooperate. . .
On Crooked Creek. . .
it's a marshmallow world in the winter!

While re~organizing and re~styling the built~in cabinet
within On Crooked Creek's Dining Room,
I decided to embrace this Winter Season with a bit of whimsy!

It's a marshmallow world in the winter

When the snow comes to cover the ground.
It's the time for play, it's a whipped cream day,
I wait for it all year round!

Once I brought the chalkboard up (handmade by "Mr. Ed")
from Studio One (my creative space), my cabinet design just snowballed.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The world is a snowball, see how it grows,
That's how it goes, whenever it snows.
The world is your snowball just for a song,
Get out and roll it along!

I adore these lidded pottery jars I purchased from Nell Hill's!

Prior to being a part of this winter vignette,
they were showcased on the shelf in On Crooked Creek's Laundry Room.

I have 'other' plans for these lovely lidded pottery jars in the very near future!

It's a yummy~yummy world made for sweethearts
Take a walk with your favorite girl
It's a sugar date, what if spring is late
In winter it's a marshmallow world!

When my beloved Grandmother passed away,
my brother received her heirloom Silver Tea Set.

So~o~o . . .
you can only imagine the  joy that flooded over me,
some years ago, when I found an identical match at our local Antique Mall.

Most every afternoon,
I stop for a cup 'o tea to re~energize my spirit.

These silver rimmed dinner plates, dessert / salad plates, cups and saucers
are the perfect size for my cup ' tea and something sweet.

Now,
if only Mother Nature would cooperate and bring me
a marshmallow world. . .On Crooked Creek!

Until next time. . .
