Take Two. . .Simplistic Style In Mind Continues!

Finishing touches on the built~in china cabinet. . .
continues with that that simplistic style in mind On Crooked Creektt!

The crispness of Traditional Christmas Hues
are accented against the backdrop of our Kitchen and Dining Room wallpaper.

In keeping with the simplistic style of the accessories above,
I began with the additional of a few additional vintage accessories below.

To the trio of white pottery lidded jars,
I added a vintage white oval ironstone platter atop a black wooden easel.

Classic black and white wreath Nell Hill salad / dessert plates,
placed in front of the platter,
will be within easy reach for serving up Christmas treats.

A single vintage red star adds a simplistic touch
and keeps the contiguity between the glassed and open shelves.
( To view the interior of the glassed shelves see  Simplistic Style In Mind . . here.)

The stainless steel coffee urn,
although non~operational, brings a sense of elegance of an era gone by.

Another vintage white oval ironstone platter, from my collection,
serves as a tray for the everyday porcelain white creamer and lidded sugar.

The star brightly shines as a symbol of the Reason for the Season.

The celebration of Christmas On Crooked Creektt, led by the star,
is similar to the symbolic Star of Bethlehem.

The placement of accessories
now needing only a touch of Christmas greenery to complete this simplistic style.

A gentle sprinkling of vintage red miniature ornaments,
atop the oval serving tray,
carries the joyous feel of Christmas On Crooked Creektt
throughout the vignette.

Adding a few accessories,

combined with a touch of Holiday greenery,

and in keeping with the Reason for the Season. . .

allows for the Simplistic Style for Christmas On Crooked Creektt to continue!

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

Pat, I love your simplistic approach to Christmas decor! The white looks so pretty with just the small touches of greenery and the little pops of red. The coffee urn is beautiful, as well! Very elegant!

Perfection! You have a real eye for putting vignettes together Pat. I still have so many areas to work on in my new house. Wouldn't it be nice if you lived close enough to come and putter with me?
I hope you are thoroughly enjoying preparing for Christmas there at Crooked Creektt.
Blessings,
Patti

Pat, those dessert plates are gorgeous. I am anxious to see them in a tablescape.
The wallpaper is a perfect background to show off white dishes.
Have a wonderful week.
