Autumn Open House. . .

Welcome to 2015's Autumn On Crooked Creektt

The more vibrant hues of Autumn
welcome you at On Crooked Creektt's front door,
while a more tranquil color palette awaits you indoors.

My Santos graciously blesses all our guests
as they enter On Crooked Creektt's Entry Hall.

As we come to the end of the Entry Hall and turn to our left,
we'll enter into On Crooked Creektt's upper level Living Room.

The antique four drawer dresser, once a Mother's Day gift from our son,
is one of my favorite vignette decorating spaces.

The upper level Living Room On Crooked Creektt
is used daily, for reading and television viewing, by "Mr. Ed" and I.

On Crooked Creektt's Entertainment Center houses not only our stereo system
and the television, but changing collections, as well.

Throughout the year this area is dressed in Easter, Thanksgiving
and Christmas decor; as well as changing with each Season of the Year.

I believe when our 1970's Ranch Style Home was built
that this area was to be utilized for a 'formal' Dining Room.

I often host Ladies Circle Meetings and Friendship Teas,
so I chose to use this space for a seating area that bridges
On Crooked Creektt's Living Room and Dining Room together.

The heirloom antique sewing machine cabinet
is another of my favorite spaces for adding Holiday and Seasonal vignettes.

Since On Crooked Creektt's 2015 Project Renewal,
I have fallen head~over~heels in l o v e with my Dining Room!

This is the place where all my creative tablescape designs come together.

I, also, create Holiday and Seasonal vignettes atop my heirloom buffet and hutch.
( Especially precious to me,
as "Mr. Ed" made the hutch top to my beloved Grandmother's buffet.)

The built~in china cabinet is another space where I showcase the many dish collections throughout the changing Holidays and Seasons On Crooked Creektt.

With limited space in our Galley Style Kitchen, there isn't much room for decor.

However, I manage to display Seasonal linen towels on the oven door,
which can be seen as you enter On Crooked Creektt's Entry Hall.
And, at the end of the counter space, which can be seen from the Dining Room.

Within the counter tops themselves,
I've squeezed in Traditional art prints on easels.

I realize On Crooked Creektt's Autumn Open House has been a photo overload.

I wanted you to receive the full benefit of seeing the entire upper level living areas
as they flow into each other throughout the upper level living areas.

As you exit the Galley Style Kitchen,
my dear little Santos wishes blessing upon you and your loved ones!

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

And. . .

Each and every week,
seeds of inspiration bloom from these host and hostesses linky parties.
Be sure to visit and delight your family dwelling with brilliant interior design.

Pat, I love how you have 'Falled up' your home. The orange berries your squirrel is guarding, the floral touch on your lamp shade and all the Fall touches through out your home are definitely hitting the mark! You are smart girl with your coffee area, I don't drink coffee but others do and I need to organize it much better. I just may be looking for some canisters like you are using.

Pat,
Such an inspiring home tour, with such attention to detail. Your home is lovely and gracious.
I like the way you created a transition between your dining and living room and the soft colors and hues you use throughout you rooms.
Have a lovely Thursday,
Jemma

Everything is so well pulled together Pat! I love all of your Autumn decor. Tell me, what are the little green pod looking things in your stoneware pitcher? Did you grow those in your yard? Thanks for sharing my friend and blessings to you and Mr. Ed.
