2015's Project #6. . .

Having completed our r e n e w a l
of On Crooked Creektt's upper level living areas,
it was time to give a bit of  renewal to the out~of~doors areas.

2015's Project #6. . . renewal of the back deck,
called for the expertise of "Mr. Ed"!

Six years ago, in 2009, tree roots had caused havoc
to On Crooked Creektt's sewer system with a break in the pipe
at the base of the foundation leading into our 1970's Ranch Style Home.

Destruction of former Patio 2009.

The entire concrete patio slab was destroyed.
In its place, our designing engineer son, aided with "Mr. Ed's" carpenter skills,
built the existing back deck.

Completed Deck September 2009.

Completed Deck September 2009.

What a h u g e improvement to our home!

"Mr. Ed" has stained our back deck twice since its completion in 2009.

Our renewal was:

the replacement of damaged patio boards,

power washing,

sanding and staining deck railings

and applying two coats of Olympic Rescue It!
Resurface + Sealant In One. I chose the stain hue in Chocolate.

On Crooked Creektt's back deck went from this. . .
b e f o r e

to this. . .
a f t e r!

It was worth the wait from March ~ July

to see the amazing results of On Crooked Creektt's 2015 Project #6!

It looks great! Your hubby did a great job, and I know how much work that it. I just helped my sister stain hers for the first time. Hopefully it will hold up a few years before she has to re-do it. LOL

I love the color you picked, it looks great!
