Firecracker Plant. . .

Our weatherman is predicting t r i p l e digit temperatures
for this week On Crooked Creektt!

I am so~o~o lovin' all the lush green grass and plants!!!

This past week "Mr. Ed" and I visited our local Garden Center
and I purchased a firecracker plant!

I adore how this PoP of orange accentuates
On Crooked Creektt's Fairy Garden!

This sun lovin' plant is an annual.

With our unusually wet Summer,
The Fairy Garden is still green and lush with Autumn Joy Sedum,
Begonias, Dusty Miller, and Purple Salvia.

Ornamental Grasses flank either side of the brick paved patio.

By waiting until towards the end of the Season,
I am always thrilled to place it near the back patio door,
for some much needed interest and color!

Here you catch a glimpse of the firecracker plant
peeking above the Ornamental Grasses as you approach
from On Crooked Creektt's Children's Garden!

Most of On Crooked Creektt's Gardens contain the same
green, white, soft buttery yellow and purple color palette.

Adding a PoP of orange brings a touch of excitement within the Gardens!

If the t r i p l e digits arrive this week,
it won't take long to turn our lush green lawn and gardens to brown.

So~o~o. . .
I'm going to enjoy every minute of On Crooked Creektt's  current status!

Until next time. . .

Dear Ones,
With a grateful heart,
I am thrilled to announce that "Mr. Ed's" recovery from a stroke
last August has been such that he is able to return to his own lawn care!
This is something he truly enjoys!
Thank you to each and every one of you whom prayed for him!
Fondly,
Pat

Good news about Mr. Ed! Love that pop of orange. We won't get triple digits but I think the rain has stopped for the summer -- LOL! Everything is so green and lush!

Your garden looks so lush and green…I was thinking how could you be in triple digits, but I guess that is yet to come. So thankful with you about Mr. Ed!

I am so glad to hear about Mr. Ed. That is such great news. I am sure he is enjoying being out in the garden again. Your firecracker plant is very pretty! Keep everything watered in that heat! Thank you so much for sharing over at Celebrate it Sunday!
