On Crooked Creektt during the days of Summer.
No family celebrations or gatherings.
So~o~o. . .
I decided instead of a regular tablescape,
to display some of my bee collectibles.
They are sweeter than honey!
When filling the primitive cabinet,(here)
I placed my two~tier plate rack, filled with decorative pear dinner plates,
atop the honey~hued linen tablecloth and added the faux ivy beneath.
As I went through my Bee Decor storage tub,
I realized that my honey~hued bee decor would be best suited in the Family Room.
I began by filling the two~tier plate rack with some of my favorite pieces.
I adore this creamer and these salt and pepper shakers.
They are simply stamped with Japan on the bottom.
I used a vintage white napkin,
trimmed in thin bands of brown and a bold yellow stripe,
to cover the pear.
On the lower shelf of the two~tier plate rack,
I placed a set of bee measuring spoons
atop my heirloom vintage tan linen luncheon napkins.
The brown pitcher, gifted to me by my Dad,
and the soft yellow pitcher are simple complementary pieces to the creamer.
The addition of the lidded brown honey pots
and the wooden bee skep puzzle fill in the area around the ivy
with more of the sweeter than honey theme.
This lidded creamer is possibly the most unique piece of my collection!
Recently, while shopping with my Sister,
I came across another unique piece. . . this lidded bee teapot!
What's this???
It's Zachary, checking to see if there's any 'real' honey inside those honey pots!
Zachary u s u a l l y resides in our youngest son's childhood rocking chair;
however, I made the exception that he join us, as he is sweeter than honey!
Isn't he adorable as he watches over the wicker trays
filled with sweeter than honey tea towels, tea pot and creamer???
On Crooked Creektt, as the days of Summer reach triple degrees,
"Mr. Ed" and I will spend more time in our lower level Family Room.
While we enjoy "cooler" temperatures that our lower level living areas allow,
we'll also, bee enjoying this sweeter than honey tablescape!
Until next time. . .
On Crooked Creektt will be joining
And. . .
And. . .
And. . .
And. . .
And. . .
Each and every week,
seeds of inspiration bloom from these
host and hostesses linky parties.
Be sure to visit and delight your family
dwelling with brilliant interior design.

Love your sweeter than honey tablescape Pat! The bear is adorable. You have a great collection of pitchers and creamers, love the bee theme. Stay cool, it's hot out there!
Thanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
Pat, first I have to apologize for not being around lately. Things have been busy, busy around here getting ready for Joe's surgery. He is in so much pain and unable to do much of anything (which as you know, is about killing him). So, I have been trying to do it all. I TRULY appreciate him and all he does. Now, thank you so much for your visit. I LOVE your BEEutiful bee accesories! I have a couple of things but nothing like yours! I love how you have gathered them all together for display and enjoyment for you and Mr. Ed.
We had a GLORIOUS day today, temps in the lOW 80's and no humidity. I spent a few hours at the pool and enjoyed every minute. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. Then we will have 4 or 5 days of 90's and HIGH humidity, UGH! As I get older I do not enjoy the HOT weather. Today was about perfect to me.I will go check some more of your recent posts now. Have a beautiful weekend!!! XO
Hi sweet Pat,
Oh, your collection is just delightful and you have so many darling pieces. The bee things just put a smile on my face. So pretty.
It is hot here also but we usually have a nice breeze blowing which helps. The humidity is reeking!
Hope your day is wonderful!

How cute, Pat! I love the tiered plate rack, and those bee measuring spoons - have never seen anything so cute! Playing with collections is so much fun, isn't it? Have a great weekend.
Dear Pat - It is very hot here too, hovering in the low 90's with humidity. We are happy to be working on indoor projects right now. You have a very cute collection of bee items. Yellow is so cheery for the summer months. Take care and stay cool!
Patti
How sweet is this! Sorry I missed this before. Love the bee pieces especially the teapot and creamer! Today's crazy weather definitely kept us inside!
Just bee-ti-full...was that too much pun???
Pat, your sweeter than honey scape is a "honey"! '-)
I'm a honey pot collector as well, so it's fun to see the pieces you have. One day, I'll get my self organized and create a post on my honey pots and other bee related pieces. Love the plate with the skep and bees. I've not seen this pattern before. Who produced this one? I'll need to have it on my radar. '-)
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
