For a hopeless romantic with a love of all things vintage,
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite Holidays!
Most years,
I choose not to decorate for Valentine's Day.
But this year is an exception to that rule,
as I placed all my vintage Valentine's Day cards at On Crooked Creektt's Entry.
I began with an ivory cherub planter
filled with faux snowball and white lilac silk florals.
Next,
I placed my wired silver photo holder behind the cherub planter
and filled it with my vintage Valentine Card Collection.
I, truly, should have been born in the Edwardian Era
for this period of time has stolen my heart!
Is it any wonder that this postcard A Loving Thought
is among my favorites of this collection???
See how much the Hallmark Card that I purchased for "Mr. Ed"
in 1970 resembles this vintage postcard?
It is a three~dimensional stand~up cut out Valentine card!
I found this adorable three~dimensional stand~up Valentine Card
while vacationing in Missouri in the 1980's.
I adore the dimensional characteristics
and the cherubs on this petite heart shaped Valentine card.
Another favorite from a former co~worker who knew me so~o~o well!
I adore the green hues of the card that complement those same
deep green hues of the vintage counter check holder.
On Crooked Creektt's Entry is filled to the brim
with a hopeless romantics love of all things vintage
Valentine's Past Collection.
Until next time. . .

Wow Pat you have some really nice vintage cards. I have always like them but only gave reproduction ones as gifts and don't even have any of my own! I'm glad you put them out and enjoyed some Valentine decorating. I like that one with the boy and girl in the egg car with the paper umbrella- so cute!
You do have some great vintage cards...I have a few by not nearly as many of you do. Really very lovey!
I love your valentine display and I too have always loved the Victorian style cards. Yours is so pretty.
I love vintage cards. They look so lovely in your entry!

Oh, I love vintage Valentines and you have some beauties!! Your entire vignette is just wonderful. Sweet Pat, I have always loved Valentines Day, but after having a baby born on Valentines I have loved it even more! So glad that you will be sharing this for SYC.
hugs,

I love vintage valentines. I see you have some I have not seen before. Hard to believe how intricate they made them. Sometimes when I find some not used I give them to family. I just don't see many I like to send these days. Thanks for sharing your pretties!
Pat, you really went all out on this. Love those cards and the decor. I'm not a February decorator, but you might make me rethink doing it up for Valentines.
Oh my Pat, your cards are adorable. I think yesteryear's cards are so much cuter than those we have today. Great job displaying them too.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and Mr. Ed.

So many charming Valentines, Pat! Your display with the white flowers and candles really showcases them.
