Summer's Buzzin' By. . .

Although I'm n o t quite ready for Autumnal decor,
I have been researching and re~arranging my decor storage bins
for a "general" idea of 2015's Autumnal design On Crooked Creektt.

As we turn the calendar page to August,
I am still thoroughly enjoying all the lush g r e e n lawn and gardens.

However,
I truly feel that Summer's Buzzin' By. . .

So~o~o. . .
while enjoying a gentle Summer "shower" On Crooked Creektt,
I set yet another Bee Tablescape.

By re~arranging the Dining Room chairs,
both "Mr. Ed" and I can enjoy the amazing views through the patio doors.

I just n e v e r  tire of this view of On Crooked Creektt's Herb Garden.

Once the chairs were placed,
I began with creating the centerpiece to capture the amazing Herb Garden view.

Earlier in the Summer,
I found the larger of the two vintage ironstone vases on a shopping trip
with my Sister in a quaint Antique Shop in Fort Scott, Kansas.

It is the "perfect" addition to my ever growing collection!

Each time I gaze upon this vase, it will bring to my mind
the precious memories of a day spent with my Sister.

The black quilted oval table runner grounds the centerpieces many white pieces
while enhancing the detailing of the bee skep
and the lidded sugar bowl with matching creamer.

I continued with the matching black quilted round place mats.

My everyday white fine porcelain dinner plates
are topped with my whimsical Nell Hill's bee salad/dessert plates.

White pristinely pressed vintage damask napkins
are drawn into hand painted wooden napkin rings
that enhance the red and green within the place mat.

Place cards, handmade in Studio One,
are placed within silver place card holders for a added touch of polish.

My everyday clear bubble glass stemware
is joined by my bee glasses for an additional touch of whimsy!

Vintage lidded tureens, stacked bowls and saucers
await our favorite dessert of Summer. . .Strawberry Shortcake!

It matters n o t where you're seated in On Crooked Creektt's Dining Room,
one thing remains true. . .Summer's Buzzin' by!

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

And. . .

And. . .

And. . .

And. . .

And. . .

Each and every week,
seeds of inspiration bloom from these host and hostesses linky parties.
Be sure to visit and delight your family dwelling with brilliant interior design.

Lovely as always. And a pretty view out your window. I'd never tire of it either. The rain looks lovely too … I haven't enjoyed one rainy day this summer. We've had a few showers during the night but no rainy day when I've been in town. I'm up for one!

What a cute table setting and play on words, Pat. I'm still enjoying summer, but with wandering thoughts on fall too.

How adorable are your BEE'S! Love the black and white, and especially your vases, they look like McCoy? Yes the summer has buzzed by, good grief.

Can't go fast enough for me. I've already got the pumpkins out and pretending it's cold outside. I'm done with Summer!

Oh my, I love this gorgeous table sweet Pat! The dishes and china are simply lovely. Yes, I love Fall décor although it's supposed to be summer vacai here too, but the weather is chilli as we are in the southern hemisphere, but anyway, at the beach is warm and great.
Enjoy summer as beautiful Autumn will be here in no time.
Hugs,
FABBY
