The Children's Garden. . .

The exterior On Crooked Creektt is divided into several Gardens.
One of my favorites is The Children's Garden!

On the East side of The Children's Garden
is our youngest son's bicycle and the Petal Pink Knock~out Rose Bush
gifted by our son and daughter~in~law for Mother's Day years ago!

A vintage birdhouse, original to the property,
is surrounded by ground cover and edged in cement pavers.

Leading up the curving path is another Knock~Out Rose Bush.
This one is Ruby Red and is so~o~o striking in hue this Spring!

Continuing up the path along The Children's Garden On Crooked Creektt,
you can see The Man of The West in the mature Cottonwood Tree.

This side of The Children's Garden is filled with varying hues of Irises.

The first to bloom this Spring were the White Iris,
followed by the Purple Iris!

Also, within the center of The Children's Garden is a Rambler Red Rose Bush.

This year,
I've not been able to photograph as we have a Cardinal nest within it's branches.
Papa Cardinal has rushed me more than once during my visits.

On Crooked Creektt, I adore the placement of The Children's Garden.

It is to the north of our 1970's Ranch Style Home where I view it each morning
from our upper level Living Room windows.

Springs rose blossoms have arrived nearly two weeks early to the Prairie
as our rose bushes first blooms usually arrive on Mother's Day.

This year,
combined with the early arrival of iris blossoms,
they have graced us On Crooked Creektt with their beauty on May Day!!!

Until next time. . .

On Crooked Creektt will be joining

And. . .

And. . .

And. . .

Each and every week,
seeds of inspiration bloom from these host and hostesses linky parties.
Be sure to visit and delight your family dwelling with brilliant interior design.

Your gardens are lovely. Don't you love those knock out roses. Ours are blooming like crazy right now; that will change when the real heat arrives.

Hi Pat! Oh, your garden beds are so pretty! Love your children's garden side too. Your roses and those irises - gorgeous. What is the bright lime green ground cover by your irises? I'm looking to find something like that. Have a beautiful weekend.
Be a sweetie,

Pat, Your Children's Garden is such a lovely idea. Love your roses and iris and bird's nest. The Cardinals really must love your garden, too. So pretty, the perfect place to raise a "family".
