but also, an Out ~ Of ~ Business ~$ale for our Bits 'n Pieces!
Since "Mr. Ed's" stroke this past Autumn,
we made the decision in January to close Bits 'n Pieces.
We held our Out ~ Of ~Business ~$ale in conjunction
with our City Wide Garage $ale for optimum participation and success.
What a relief to get all of the furniture and creative designed merchandise
out of the lower level Family Room and my creative space in Studio One!
with Bits 'n Pieces Fall inventory, left over 2014 Spring inventory
plus our 2015 Project decor items!!!
"Mr. Ed's" adorable primitive blue cabinet
and all but one chalkboard $old, also!!!
One set of black cats and pumpkins $old!
Both sets of block Snowmen $old!!!
Every chair we had $old!!!
Every lamp we had $old!!!
Ladder, too!!!
All the lanterns and all the enamelware. . .$old!!!
Oh my goodness. . .you can visually see how "sparse the pickin's"
were on the last day of our $ale!
"Mr. Ed" and I felt truly blessed
by the $uccess of our Out~Of~Business~$ale /Garage $ale!!!
Those "few" items that didn't $ell
were donated to our local Thrift Shop and Goodwill.
Some of "Mr. Ed's" handmade pieces
will be added into the Silent Auction for our Church Missions in December.
All~in~all. . .it was a very busy three days, but well worth the effort!
Both, "Mr. Ed" and I are grateful for the opportunity
to have met some amazing people within our community.
We thank all our friends and those community members whom shopped
with us to make our closing business a pleasant experience and memory.
As we close this chapter in our lives On Crooked Creektt,
we are filled with anticipation at the possibilities that lie ahead for us!
Until next time. . .
On Crooked Creektt will be joining
And. . .
And. . .
And. . .
And. . .
Each and every week,
seeds of inspiration bloom from these
host and hostesses linky parties.
Be sure to visit and delight your family
dwelling with brilliant interior design.

Wow, Pat, your setup for your sale undoubtedly helped your cash flow - it all looks spectacular. I know if I had come, there were a LOT of things I would've bought too. So nice and clean, ready to use - the best! So glad it was successful for you, and now such a load off your mind. A project well done! Now you can rest a bit, or a lot. ;)

It sounds like you did well getting so much sold...whoever bought that beautiful table/desk got a gem...I would have fought them for it!
Have you been getting rain every day, like this side of the prairie? I am sick of it, I need some sunshine!
Wow, Pat, it looks like your sale was a huge success! I am sure it was a little bittersweet to see it all go! You had so many pretty things! I'm sure all of your items have some happy new homes! Hope you had a blessed Memorial Day!
Congratulations on your success in closing the business. It sounds like you did things right. I look forward to hearing about your next "chapter!"
Pat ~ If I lived just a wee bit closer you can bet I would have been racing over. You 'styled' your inventory to make one want to buy up all the goodies you had for sale. Wonderful that it went so well.
Congrats on your successful sale!!
