Puttin' On The Green. . .

On Crooked Creektt
                                              is  puttin' on the green!

Dear Ones,
Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen is hosting a Blog Crawl featuring
Saint Patrick's Day Tablescapes for Let's Dish. Be sure to visit today
and throughout your free time and enjoy some amazing holiday tablescaping
in the Land of Blog!
Fondly,
Pat

Staying true to my Timeless Classical Traditional Style,
I've set a Saint Patrick's Day Tablescape featuring
my Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage bowls and platter.

My cabbage platter is placed atop my lettuce place mats .
Intertwining the place mats allows for them to be used instead of a table runner.

Of course, my favorite Saint Patrick's Day menu choices
are corned beef and cabbage!

Until then, I'm substituting faux cabbages and asparagus.

My everyday porcelain white dinnerware has been placed atop a silver charger.
A classic resting place for my Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage bowls.

To the upper left are silver place card holders awaiting the names of our guests.

Appears a "wee little leprechaun"
has been playing a "bit of a shenanigan"  with my camera lens!

Ah~h~h. . . much better!

Everyday Oneida stainless flatware and our clear bubble glass stemware
keep clean~up to a minimum.
I added my crystal rose etched stems for a 'speciality beverage'.

Vintage white damask linen tablecloth
combined with vintage white damask napkins edged in the Greek key motif
continue my Timeless Classical Traditional Style.

My classic white urns, filled with faux hydrangea,
were the inspiration for this Saint Patrick's Day tablescape!

A Timeless Classical Traditional Style,
Saint Patrick's Day Tablescape On Crooked Creektt is my way of
                                  puttin' on the green!

Until next time. . .

Great idea to use the lettuce placemats as a runner! Love the crisp look of the white with green on your table. So wish I had some of those cabbage bowls - they are perfect for this occasion. Love the pattern/colour of your rug under the table! Visiting from Kathleen's.

Beautiful table, Pat...it is amazing how many of us bloggers have the BP cabbage dishes!
Hope you are enjoying the wonderfully warm weather...today is the first day I have gone without a jacket since last fall! Enjoy the rest of the week.

Pat, Watch out for those mischievous leprechauns! I think your table is classic and just beautiful! Crispy green and white is perfect for a classy St. Pat's table. I used BP plates too, but mine don't have the white accents. I wish I could find those! Love your table and the clever runner idea. Linda

The green cabbage bowls are a lovely contrast to the white plates and the lovely damask tablecloth. I love the leaf placemats that you have used as a runner, they add a wonderful layer of texture and a lovely presentation for the large cabbage platter. Happy Saint Patrick's Day..... Candy
