Simplistic Autumnal Styling. . .

If there is a theme to On Crooked Creektt's Autumnal decor,
it's Simplistic Autumnal Styling!

My entire Autumnal decor began with this one sprig of bittersweet.

With each Seasonal change,  I begin my designing with the high spaces.

This Autumn,
I began with the top of the china hutch made by "Mr. Ed".

This hutch sits atop my beloved Grandmother's heirloom buffet.
Its sole purpose is to hold my beloved MoMa's Narumi Classic Rose Fine China.

My Anduze Pottery Collection is a year round staple atop the hutch.

I placed one simple sprig of bittersweet, randomly arranged,
into the largest of my pottery to make a simplistic Autumnal styling statement.

Filling in the void with a pair of quail, complements the Anduze Pottery
while adding a touch of nature to this simplistic Autumnal vignette.

To soften the golden oak hue of the buffet, I placed a square table topper
on an angle beneath my heirloom silver Coffee Service.

I used an embossed creamy ivory platter and a commemorative plate
as a backdrop for my silver Coffee Service.

A simplistic message reminding us in all things and all ways to "give thanks".

On Crooked Creektt   Simplistic Autumnal Styling has been my theme throughout our upper and lower level living areas.

Until next time. . .

Too hot here for bittersweet so we go faux. Love the way you have styled the cabinet.

Everything looks so pretty...won't be long now until we can bring out our Christmas bling...that's when I really have fun decorating. Love it.
That is a mighty fine looking hutch Mr. Ed made for you...xoxo

I really like your simple style ... it's my taste too. I've always dreamed of using "Real" bittersweet in my decor, but up until now, it's been artificial. Swooning over yours. xo

Pat, it's simplistic beauty that's for sure! I love the beautiful orange bittersweet against the cream. Thanks for sharing with SYC and thanks for helping spread the news about 'Creating Christmas'!
