Ah~h~h. . .Autumn Arrives!

Gray skies, drizzling rain, cooler temperatures,
Ah~h~h. . . Autumn Arrives On Crooked Creektt!!!

My favorite Season of the year is Autumn!
I love the changing of the hues!!!

While Mother Nature is avidly working on the out~of~door hues,
I have been steadily working on changing hues indoors!

Needing a great amount of assistance, (following my surgery)
"Mr. Ed" was a huge asset in accomplishing the task
of  adding Autumnal foliage atop  the Entertainment Center.

Left~to~right
snarly branches, ivy leaves with green, purple and red berry branches
enliven our upper level Living Room with warm, vibrant Autumnal hues.

Being true to my personal decorating style,
I kept with a streamlined Traditional decor throughout the glass shelves.

Top~to~bottom
choosing a red, gold and creamy ivory color palette
gives an appealing and warming decor as the temperatures continue to drop.

Open shelving below keeps the Autumnal hues
for a cohesiveness within the Entertainment Center.

As a daily reminder to continue to pray for my former students
now serving with the U. S. Marines, I placed their military photos
directly in front of my devotional space.

Bottom~to~top
I continued with the same decor design for the Entertainment Center.

Red candlesticks with a faux  floral candlering
creates a striking Seasonal contrast to our black mantle clock.

Cooler temperatures, drizzling rain and gray skies
might be the order of the day out~of~doors,
but by adding warm and vibrant hues to the Entertainment Center. . .

Before photos of the Entertainment Center
can be see @ Summer Fanfare. (here)

On Crooked Creektt
is embracing the Seasonal changes taking place out~of~doors.

Ah~h~h. . .Autumn Arrives!

Until next time. . .

Pat - your fireplace mantel looks so pretty! Love the autumny garland you added, especially surrounding those antique oil lamps. :) Hope you are healing and back on your feet soon, girlie!

Everything looks really pretty, Pat.
Well, I got myself in the danged ole GOOGLE MESS, too. Now, I guess I have to make a new blog and it makes me really mad that Google does this to people. It's just not right to take access away from a blog developed in 2007. Just not right.
AND, now when I leave a comment and people click on my name, it takes them to the dreaded GOOGLE PLUS site, which I hate. I am trying to figure out how to get out of it all but don't think I can. How do you put your blog address on that hated Google Plus page??

Autumn is my favorite time, too! I love your arrangement on top of your entertainment center - It has the same elements that my mantle has. I have an old window and two kerosene lamps. I was also looking at a previous entry, where you took us along on a shopping trip and I saw two things that I would have snatched up had I been with you - darn! I"m following now, can't wait to come back. Leslie

I'm glad you and your blog are back! (and I am back after being away a lot.) It sounds like you are "live" again and have things working. I love that old clock!

Oh my! So good to be able to leave a comment with you! I hope you are doing well. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to give a thought about about decorating. A very nice collaboration! I hope you have a lovely fall!
